I didn't think anyone was home that day
when I returned after school finished although I was early than usual
because he wouldn’t be home, he meaning the guy I was living with, my
husband, aged 23, the guy I was forced to marry due to my parents’
forcing me just to clear their dept that they were willing to sell me
to a total stranger who needed a wife to keep women away so when I saw
him home, I couldn’t help but think I’m better off with him who treats
me like a family than my own family.
